New Gear Studio Functionality: Views

Introducing the new “Views” feature we incorporated into our Gear platform. It is a powerful tool that will allow the data collected from the field, already presented in various sections of the platform, to be viewed in real time applied to a graphical representation of the installation in question. Such representations can range from equipment drawings to actual installation images or isometric representations that allow for rapid interpretation of field variables, to speed up decision-making and shorten event response times.

The applicability to maintenance management is virtually unlimited: from data related to equipment usage hours, to engine vibration levels, oil temperature, power consumption. All this information could be collected remotely, sent to our platform and subsequently integrated with the maintenance tool selected by the end customer. This prevents data collection through costly manual processes (logistics, time, human resources), adds little value, and often brings problems in loading data into the maintenance management system.

Imagine the savings associated with not having to send maintenance personnel to relieve data from remote facilities for which they must travel significant distances in company vehicles and often undergo unfavorable weather conditions in order to do these surveys. This is not to count the risks associated with the facility itself where it is not always easy to access the data as it is at height or there may be risks of electric shock, burns, etc.

Imagine being able to keep the maintenance management tool up to date and be able to schedule maintenance tasks knowing that the information is real and not estimated. With our new functionality of Views in Gear, now it is easier!
